Ninjas in Pyjamas won ASUS ROG Winter 2015 with a 2-0 victory over Titan (16-5 on de_dust2 and 16-14 on de_cache). Following a very strong performance from Titan against PENTA Sports earlier in the day, it was surprisingly to see the Frenchmen get off to such a poor start to the series as they turned in a frustrating display on the first map, de_dust2. Starting off on the Terrorist side, NiP entered B rather easily in the pistol round but almost lost control of the bombsite as Kenny "kennyS" Schrub stormed through and got three kills before being killed in the decisive confrontation. After losing the eco rounds that followed, Titan responded in the first gun round and reduced the deficit to 1-3, but NiP regained control of the game and strung six rounds together. Some good defensive work from Kévin "Ex6TenZ" Droolans and kennyS finally allowed Titan to get back into the game and cut the gap to 3-9, but the last three rounds of the half ended up going NiP' way. In the second half, NiP picked up where they had left off and won the opening three rounds, after which Titan got two of their own, but the Frenchmen's recovery was short-lived as a triple kill from Adam "friberg" Friberg gave the Swedish side a 16-5 victory and a one-map lead. de_cache was the map that followed, and here NiP got off to a flying start, killing all five opponents in the pistol round without losing a single player as Patrik "f0rest" Lindberg got two long-range kills before friberg finished the job. NiP were surprised on the eco in the following round, but then Titan got a taste of their own medicine as they fell short against an ecoing side, with friberg winning a 1-on-3 clutch in A with a Desert Eagle. The Swedish team went on to win the following two rounds to make it 4-1, but double kills from kennyS and Mathieu "Maniac" Quiquerez put a stop to NiP's winning streak. With the scoreline 5-3 in favour of NiP, Maniac took matters into his own hands and picked up four kills while rushing B, three of them with just 4 HP, a round that powered Titan during the remainder of the half as they took a 9-6 lead before switching sides. Titan followed it up by winning the pistol round as CT, but once again they were caught off-guard on the eco. After winning the following two anti-eco rounds, NiP kept their cool and took two gun rounds in a row following great individual actions, first from Christopher "GeT_RiGhT" Alesund, then from Mikail "Maikelele" Bill. Still, Titan refused to throw in the towel and equalised the match on 14 rounds, but a massive blunder from Ex6TenZ, who stopped defusing the bomb when Maikelele was still far away and with just a pistol, cost the Frenchmen the round and saw NiP take the money advantage to the final round, which they won with ease.
